From 30 May to 1 June 2025, the shores of Balatonmáriafürdő, Hungary, hosted the second round of the 2025 Open Skiff Eurochallenge. Eighty-three young sailors from across Europe, India, and the United States came together for a weekend of spirited racing, camaraderie, and fun.
Racing began strongly on Friday, with three races completed in excellent wind. Saturday was calm and windless, but spirits remained high thanks to a vibrant evening of games, dinner, and live music. On Sunday, the wind returned, allowing the race committee to complete four additional races—securing a full seven-race series and a well-deserved result for every sailor.
