The O’pen Skiff Class Association held its General Assembly online on 5 November 2026, electing its incoming Executive Committee and unanimously approving a class-rule amendment concerning sail repairs.
Congratulations to President Benoit Treguilly, Vice President Guido Sirolli, Treasurer Roman Christ, Secretary Piotr Oleksiak, committee members Bevan McKavanagh and Andi Tósoky, and Tahe Outdoors France representative Rossella Marchi.
Our sincere thanks go to outgoing committee members Helena von Sydow and Till Kubelke for their time, commitment and contribution to the Class.
The approved amendment to Rule C.9.2(c) would allow more than one damaged monofilm sail panel to be replaced, while retaining the original Dacron frame and preserving the sail’s area and shape. It remains subject to the applicable class-rule approval process before taking effect.
